I know that it has been generally accepted that the boots worn in the movies are in fact Aldens. However, I just read on page 103 (in the sidebar on the right side describing the pictures), of the book "The Complete Making Of Indiana Jones" a statement attributed to Deborah Nadoolman about buying and aging Red Wing work boots.
I am not trying to start a controversy about which type of boots Indy wore. I just thought it was interesting. I have four pairs of Aldens (one that I wear and 3 in the "bull pen"), and I am not about to switch to Red Wings!
It does beg the question: Is she correct or are we?
