I decided to order a Raider Special size 40 can not wait to get it. I decided it was time to get one of these in case they ever decided to quit making them. I will post pics when it arrives.

When did you order it and have they shipped it out yet? I just ordered the exact same jacket/size.

I ordered it last night and it says processing so I have no idea how long it will take to get it.

If you guys don't mind me asking but why did you guys choose the Special ROTLA Jacket instead of the regular one?
I am wondering because I am currently trying to decide on which jacket to purchase for myself.
Thanks,

It's more screen accurate than the standard Raiders Wested.
On the other hand: the leather is thinner and more vulnerable.
Consider the ROTLA special offer as a nice summer jacket.
The delivery time of mine was two weeks.

Does it go with the 80's fit thing, and all the other specs. like that?

I used to have a standard off the rack and I was never totally happy with it. The thickness of the leather was nice and I've yet to find out how the Raiders compares, but I wanted a tighter fitting jacket without leather facings and the brass zipper really messed up the look of the jacket in my opinion. When I get this jacket I might post a comparison thread if anybody would like.

It is my understanding that it is the most SA jacket they offer and it is the 80's fit as far as I know I will post pics when it arrives
