Red Wings & Raiders???

When browsing the new and wonderfull "Making of the Indiana Jones films..."...."-book I notice that Deborah Nadoolman bought Red Wings work-boots for Harrison Ford.
So does anyone in here remember when, where and why it was changed to Aldens?
