One of my pals at the whip enthusiast's group is in to Firewhips. They're specially made of Kevlar, I believe.

Sorry, but whips are hazardous enough without being lit on fire.....

Chris "Canasta" Camp has a couple of firewhips, and he can do FAR more than this.

His are made by the same guy who made the one in that video, (Firewhips by Riz out of Florida.)

If you go to the bottom of this page, and click one of the links, you can see Chris's fantastic firewhip stuff. You have to get through the parade stuff first, but the parade stuff is pretty good to. Trust me. I shot it ;-)

Hi,

I was cracking with fire whip, and yes, they are made with kevlar. I think it's great feeling :D to crack them. But you have to watch on your hair ;). I have smashed my a bit.

I'm actually putting a new kevlar overlay on one of my firewhips today. This kevlar wicking is way easier to braid than leather, but it's really hard to find the stuff. I was only sold enough to redo my pair of 6 ft firewhips.

You can find my firewhip videos if you search 'firewhips at night' or AdamCWM (my YouTube user name).
