Wested are hitting the mark!

Post by Neolithic »

After initially having a few bad events with the Raiders Special Offer, I decided to go with a custom jacket made in good old England and boy did they get it right. My order was for a Raiders in lamb...

All the nerdy details I was after are on this jacket, x-box stitching, rectangular sliders, rounded top collar, piped internal pocket and no facing on the zip which is nickel and extends to the bottom of the jacket.

I didn't specify pocket size, but it seems Wested have taken on board the slightly smaller Raiders pocket size and scalloped flaps that look great.

It's good to have a vendor that listens to us and is keen on doing things right.

I'm very, very happy with it!
Thanks, fellas!

I am glad Wested did a nice job on your jacket. Mind showing us some pictures.

;0

I got a Wested a couple weeks back was awesome, the best SA jacket I have ever gotten. Would like to see how yours turned out, bet it looks great.

Here's a few detail shots...
I might take one of me wearing it during the day.

I didn't specify any mods on the pockets- I quite like the way they've turned out.

WOW! Peter, I've been a hard critic of constant Wested errors but it seems the last several jackets have been flawless and all the details met. PLEASE keep up the great work!

BRAVO!

That is a beautiful jacket Neolithic, thanks for putting up the pictures. It looks exactly how mine turned out. Very nice jacket, wear that one well. From going to the movies people told me I needed to put some dirt on my jacket. For me I am going to wear it and distress it naturally how a jacket should be distressed. Anyway, nice jacket again. Peter keep up the fine work your doing a great job.

That is a gorgeous jacket! I'm a thinking it is going to soon be time for another Wested. I love my Wested goat, but all of the new jackets he is pumping out over there look fantastic!

I agree. Thinking about getting a new wested or TN soon. My wested from 05 is lacking a bit - lack of scalloping pockets, the back panel is too high up and the pleat is way too wide (not sure if these 2 issues are fixed now?). Also I'm not happy with the overall fit.

Very nice indeed. Glad to see Wested doing it right...without too much nagging.

Indeed, Wested rock!

But my arms are too long for an off the rack size.
I want an extra inch on the sleeve...

So this baby is for sale at the Cairo Bazaar.

I truly hope Peter going is going to standarize the backpanel, arm vs. yoke seam, pockets and left collar now.

That's exactly how my jacket turned out, except I didn't get the X stitching.
