fall hitch knot

Post by protokev »

Im in the process of reworking a cheep whip i got and an interested in trying to tie a fall hitch knot to make the fall replaceable. Currently the fall is one of the plaits.

Ive spent about an hour looking for what kind it is but am having no luck.

Thanks

Ron Edwards book How To Make Whips and David Morgan's Whips and Whipmaking will teach you how to tie a fall hitch. You can get both of them from http://www.davidmorgan.com.

It's not very hard to do, but will take a few tries for it to look pretty.
