My Magnoli Pants!

Post by starks_6 »

I had an email from Indy Magnoli 2 days ago stating my pants would arrive in 2 weeks, 2 days later, on the table when I get home... YES!

These are so Raiders! the colour is great and I feel very close to the SOC. These are really well made and fit perfectly! Thanks very much Indy Magnoli! Anyone wanting SA Raiders pants, you wont be disappointed.
Let me know your thoughts! Just some general pics, when I can get the better half to take photos of me IN the gear I will :)

The Pants!

Against a pair of Paris pants. Whilst being an extremely well made and high quality pair of pants I feel the colour of the Paris pants are more ToD...not to offend anyone just my personal opinion.

And in a general gear pic for colour comparison, the AB shirt goes great with these! (thanks again Marc) ;)

I ordered the wool blend in Dark Khaki as they are the ones shown on the website and Indy Magnoli has said these to be the closest colour.
Also with sizing for the looseness, from what i measured exactly around the thigh I added 3 inches for "thighs loose" and ordered them loosely fitting and they are perfect! Im sure Indy Magnoli will give you the correct colour, if unsure however shoot him an email :)
I think Im going to have to order another pair before long!

So I'm guessing anything in cotton would be inaccurate to Raiders?

Yes. Cavalry twill wool pants is the accurate way to go.

How is the drape of the cuff on the boots? I've noticed that some of the pants are tapered and don't drape like they do in the movies.

Im still waiting on my Aldens but what I can tell you is they only have about an all round 2" hem (not military hem) so may not drape correctly.
