One of my frustrations when out in gear is how much my gun belt pulls to the whip side. I want to place some weight in my holster, and I was wondering if people who own any of the pistols could weigh them and let me know how much they weigh.
Looking for weights on:
S&W HE2 (4-inch barrel)
S&W M1917 (4-inch barrel)
Webley MKVII
Thanks,
Mike

They are all gonna run just under 3 pounds.
That's the approximate weight of the steel N-frames.

Are you talking about real steel, or replica?

Russ,
I am looking for real steel. Basically, I want to throw some weight into my holster to get the right look of how the gunbelt sits. The whip on one side really pulls it down when there is nothing on the other.

Like carebear said, a good number is at least 3 pounds for a fully loaded N-frame Smith.

Lead fishing weights from your nearest sporting goods shop should do it.
Or, use your holster to carry your sandbag!
