Todd's jacket question

Post by Falco09 »

I'm going to eventually order one of Todd's standard jackets but I have a question that can hopefully be answered by current owners. I am a 40R in dress coat size and want the jacket to be fitted for a Raiders look. Should I go with the medium or large?

I went with my regular, off the rack size that I would normally buy in a department store. The fit is comfortably snug (but not at all tight), as in Raiders. If you prefer a roomier fit, Todd recommends ordering a size up. Also, I think some of the sizes have changed since I ordered mine, so it would be best to check that before ordering if you are not sure. They should respond to any concerns you have about correct sizing. And they are very good about exchanges or refunds if you do get the wrong size.

I agree with easybox. I bought mine last October. I'm a 42R and went with a size large which is the size I normally wear. IMO the fit is just about right for a ROTLA jacket. Not too tight and not too baggy.

Ditto, I'm a 44 chest and the XL fits me best; so a Large for you would probably be the way to go.

Peace.

Yup always go one size up for Todd's standard.

I wear a 40 regular in a sports coat, and my Todd's Indy jacket is a large and fits like it was custom made.

plus if there is extra room, distressing and shrinking the jacket is not a problem.

I wear a 42R and a Todd's large way tight in the shoulders and chest for me so I sold it. I am 5'10" and it was also REALLY short. You guys seem to have a different take but my jacket was an early version so maybe the sizes have changed somewhat?
