Very Dissapointed.

Post by Super Sleuth »

So I go and I try to order a hat yesterday that with the slightest bit of alteration would be a good cheap Indy fedora from the village hat shop. I try to order it in extra large and everything was going well. Then just a few hours ago they say they are out of the hat in my size. Now that was the only hat I could really afford right now what am I going to do.

I'm very sorry. Think of this as a blessing though. Use the money you were going to spend on this hat and save it until you can afford something a little better, like an Akubra or a Christy's. At about $100 each, they are a great value.

you could always settle for the dorfman pacific and try your hand at rebashing the crown if you're desperate enough.

Do you need a hat for the premiere? I will let you borrow one of mine if you're the same size as I am. I'll FedEx it to you and then you just ship it back. What's your size?

Best thing I can think of that you can do for just a cheap outfit it to go to your local Blockbuster if they have the Indy stuff and get one there.[/b]

Check ebay for a vintage brown fedora. You might be surprised with what you can find.

I'm surprised you didn't use your Disney employee discount to find something over at the Epic Stunt Spectacular! Or can't you get in free at MGM? I'd be all over that place.

Glad You found something! We're waiting to see your gear on Sunday... :D

Actually I can get in at MGM but all they sell is over priced DPs. I already have 2. One shrunk to the point of where it fits my ten year old brother perfectly and the other is so stiff and so shallow that its more like an Indy helmet.
