Hey Blues, maybe it would be a good idea to have every one post their sizes, as well.

I ordered a 7 5/8

I understand but I don't see why not since the world has seen photos and footage of Harrison in action with his Fedora.

I believe that was mandated by Lucas to all the vendors: please no pics of vendor products before the film's release.

I notice that Tony Nowak is also not showing a picture of his CS jacket on his site.

My e-mails are on recovery limbo right now, but I know it was late June 2007. The 22nd rings a bell.
Two in size 7 1/2ish.
Gray Open crown.

You've been waiting since '06? That's nearly 19 months. Isn't that a bit long even by the usual wait time averages? I could have sworn that I read that some people that placed their orders a little over a year ago, are starting to get their hats? You may want to make a call.

size...I gave him my noggin measurements of 56.5 cm or 22 1/4"
style...undecided Last Crusade bash.
I just told him I would wait patiently until my time came, and would send him head shots to go by when he was ready.

Best way is still Paypal.

I may just opt for the "throwing the money method" just to be safe. Is Steve still offering a discount to COW members?
IGH- Yes. "Throwing the money method" is the best/safest way to get in line (and on the discount)- should be able to search and find that. PP him with directions/bash/size. The payment goes to the email address you can get off the Adventurebilt site. Then we wait! 8)

Mine was ordered this month (I don't remember the day- trying not to think too much about it). LC hat, straight pinch, little/no taper, normal brim dimensions, etc. 7 3/8 (59.1cm).

But we can't order the CS yet, can we? That was my understanding but I'm a newbie. :)

They've posted several downloadable images on the official site. Most have a hat in them. I've had one on my computer for at least a couple of months- from them. (Not contradicting what Steve said- I'm sure he's right. But there are pics available from the official site- of course, that way they control what and when things are shown).

I was under the impression that we just had to put the date that we ordered the AB. I received mine (approximately) November 20, 2007.

I guess I'm still not sure what the point of this thread is. I thought it was so we could look at the first post (which is constantly being edited) so that people could see how long it takes on average to get the hat. If you want to know how far along Steve is on the orders, wouldn't you just look at the other thread to find the last person to receive a hat and when they ordered?

This just kind of keeps things in one place so we dont have to go digging. Also when someone posts that they recieved their AB but do not put the order date we can look that up real easy.

Sure, that may work, but some people have gotten their hats in 11 months, while another person received theirs in 3 weeks.
Not a very easy guage between those time frames.

Not really

Not unless someone's willing to put in a whole lot of time correlating all the variables. For example, it has been mentioned that common sizes are likely to take longer because they will get to the blocking slower. So you'd have to know all the variables and someone would have to keep up with it all- and it could only likely occur with regular input from Fedora. I'm sure we'd rather he have the time for a few beers (or whatever makes him happy!!).

I guess it makes sense, even if it is a bit redundant. I thought I'd included my size in the first post - guess not. I'd have to call it 7 7/16

This is good news that July orders are going out. I am expecting a slew of June orders to arrive Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (hopefully mine included!).

I just got my AB Deluxe today.

It's a 23 7/8". I don't recall the exact date order but I'm a late August/first of September guy.

I'd post pics but, last I heard from Marc, he and Steve are asking not to post pics of the CS hats until after the movie release. So, I'll post some later this week!
