Nowak's new jacket sounds good to me. Why complain? What I like about Americans is their capacity to embrace diversity and choice. It's not right to diss Nowak's product. He's doing an honest job - he got the film contract - and now he's offering his mystical product to fans. His price is his business - that's capitalism. It's another option for us all. You don't have to buy one (I won't) but there's no reason to be vicious. I don't like the idea of Nowak's map lining, etc, but Indy fans now have an option that was never available before. The real thing.
We also know that there was once a manufacturer who said he had the patterns to the original Indy jacket, but clearly did not, given how different the his jackets looked. When we realised what was happening, some of us were angry (that certificate was a crock), but ultimately the fans helped him to develop a product that (almost) looked like he really did have the patterns. In the end, we were all able to overlook some of the more silly claims. Generosity is king.
Let's not let a little thing like a jacket cause a war.
Cheers
Nowak bashing, anyone?

Its already been stated dozens of times that the "other" manufacturer was indeed in possesion of the original patterns AND was the original supplier of jackets to Raiders and Last Crusade.
The "other" manufacturer was also given the assignment to make a dozen of prototype jackets thus being an adviser for KOTCS on Bernie Pollaks behalf.
