Didn't realize I had it so bad...

Stopped in at The Hatter on Avenue Rd. in Toronto today. Found I was critiquing the hats in a whole new way. I had no idea that I'd been so deeply inoculated.

Saw one I liked but took a pass - a fawn colour just won't look good after a couple of hours in my life. Does anyone know anything about "Beaver Brands" hats. They're a US outfit as far as I know.

I believe Keppler gets his fedoras through Beaver brand. So they must be pretty good!

Beaver brand are fine hats.

I know what you mean though. I became obsessed with hats since I joined here. Now I'm making hats for all men in my family. hah!

Yup, Keppler's are Beaver Brand. And darn fine hats, too. Plus they have that nifty blue liner.

In addition to Lee, search the Fedora Store. He's a well established Beaver Brand dealer with some exclusive, including a design your own sort of thing.

My wallet was desperately trying to spit a credit card into my hand. Of course, that may have been because the card was melting down. If the colour had been right (and the data centre not quite on the ball) I'd be bashing my new lid right now.

Mufflowne,

You do know that we're cousins, right? I'll take mine in size 71/2 - you don't really have to wait until Christmas.

Yup. We do come from a big clan, don't we cuz. Grandaddy was a busy fella, what with wearin' out 4 wives...

If it makes it easier you don't have to wrap the package up fancy, either.
