cooper/standard USW specs

Hi.I have been searching and searching with no luck.

can anyone please help me with some info.

I am wondering how much the standard US wings jacket has since the TOD/cooper jacket.

I know they said enough allready at on point in history when we fans tryed to change every spec on the jacket...

but are the standard specs are they soooo different from what was back then?

like is the length still the same or did they shortend it up an Inch?
pockets are obvious bigger.
how about the collar?

anyone?

This may just be nitpicking... but when I compare pictures from the U.S. Wings website to screen grabs from Temple of Doom... there's a few things that jump out at me:

To me, the collar stand on the ToD jacket looks like it extends all the way to the outer edge of the storm flap, similar to Raiders. On the Wings jacket, I think the collar stand looks more like the ones in Last Crusade and Crystal Skull than ToD...

On the ToD jacket, the top of the back panel looks like it extends the full width of the yoke seam...

The side seam looks different on the new Wings jacket than the one in ToD (although, I noticed on U.S.Wings' website that the side seam on their new limited and collectors edition jackets looks more like the one in the movie)... Also, the pleats look like they lay all the way open during most of the time that they're on screen, and the vent at the bottom looks like its sewn almost all the way shut (I'm just going by photos here and have never handled a Wings jacket... so I'm not sure if things like how deep the vent is and the pleats staying open are the same on the new standard jackets)...

And... of course, people have disputed things like pocket size/shape, placement of the side straps, hardware (brass vs. nickel/aluminum zipper, d-rings vs. buckles) and the overall fit of the jacket... among others.

Again, I'm just comparing pictures and have never handled a U.S.Wings jacket, or a screen used ToD jacket (I wish I could...).

Yep, has has been posted many many times, there have been several changes to the pattern (just like the Wested jacket) over the years.
