Limited Edition U.S. Wings Jacket Arrived Today

Post by rrhanselka »

My U.S. Wings Limited Edition Indy jacket , size medium, came today. It seems to be a much better fit than the large. What do you guys think?

If I sell the large, Indiana Holt and Canada Jones have both expressed an interest, but I haven't even considered it, as of yet.

Here are some pics. Feedback invited. Please disregard the old fart on top of the jacket and under the hat.

Thanks Guys......
I have to agree. The Medium fits much better. After buying way too many jackets, This one fits like I think it should. All the others were too big, or too tight in the armholes, or something. I'm very pleased.

Yes Holt, I got your PM and have responded.

Many Thanks

Yep, that looks great!

At first I thought my large jacket was okay, but after looking at some pics of me wearing it, I sent my large jacket back to exchange it for a medium... should have it next week. :D

Sgt. Hack's customer service rocks, btw!

It makes me wonder why USW doesn't get more air time. It sure seems like a great jacket to me. Just like the G&B, it's built to military specs and tough as a tank. Definitely, not a costume jacket, like the Wested.

Many Thanks

i agree i have a todds and though i like it i just think its way too thin just doesnt feel like a leather jacket. when i think of a leather jacket it should feel like nothing is getting through it and the usw feels that way. heck i got rid of my other 2 leather jackets (bomber jackets) cause i loved this one so much

Got rid of your bomber jackets? WOW!!!! I could never do that. I love them all, but give me an A-2 or a G-1 , anyday.

Randoman,
Jacket looks absolutely AWESOME. I'm so glad I picked up one of these jackets (actually two), and agree that USW should get WAY more credit than they do...They make QUALITY jackets that are built for a lifetime! Perfect Jacket for you Randoman!!!

The fit on that jacket looks just about perfect on you! A lot of times Wings jackets seem to be a little long here or a little baggy there on some people, but that jacket seems to fit you great! Plus its the KOTCS hide. Couldn't ask for a better combo! :)

I've been preaching that for years! Just go back and read old posts of mine in Jackets back to 2003 or even 2002. I've owned 3 USWings and still own two of them. They fabulous Indy Jackets. Period. My "almost" 6 year old Goat jacket from them has broken in beautifully.

And my new "Indy 4 leather" cowhide... that may be the jacket I get buried in... 8)

Nothing recent. I'll try (weather depending) on getting new pics of all 4 jackets on my site this weekend if I can.

If you decide to Sell

Post by mwells »

I missed the boat on these if you decide to sell I would love to get a shot at the large as thats the size I have to wear I am 150 lbs but 6'2 which means I need a large for the arm length. :) Feel free to email me at mwells78@cox.net I would love to get one of these but all they have listed on the site is small and that would not work I am afraid.
Thanks again!
