I am not the best person to review a bullwhip, but after receiving the 8-foot Robert Duke bullwhip and cracking it all afternoon, all I can say is that I am very impressed.
I have very little experience with bullwhips, but this one makes me want to get out and crack it. It cracks easily, looks great and the price was right. It also scares the neighbor's constantly barking dogs. What else can you ask for?
If anybody has any questions, I will try my best to answer them...This is a great whip for the experienced whip cracker as well as the more inexperienced as myself.
Looks like a great bull. I think the 8 foot length is the most versatile, even my 10 year old can snap off a good crack with our 8 and keep it moving pretty well. Good luck with yours rick5150, I hope you get years of use out of it.

I agree. My 12-year old can do a few cracks with the 8 footer too.
Rick, how did you hear of Duke? Through the W.E. over at Yahoo?
Wow another whip to check out! Well thanks I haven't heard of these guys yet..I'll check them out If you have more pics I'd love to see 'em! Thanks. Brett
I can't take credit for this one. ITG mentioned Robert Duke on this very forum and the rest is a long story - but since history has been erased, it is best to keep it that way. I have been e-mailing Mr. Duke and he seems like a heck of a nice guy. A great whip at a great price. I will try to get more pics in the next few days...
Yea I checked out his site, looks pretty good(needs more pics though), I'll have to get some pricing from him 'cuz I'm looking for a 12 or 10 footer at the least. but its always good to see whats out there and make comparisons, and ultimately the finally decision. Brett
