I rarely have much success with the search feature and was unable to find anything on this jacket.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Hey G,

I was reading all your posts last week about the US Auth. Indy, but all the photo links are dead. Any chance of putting them up again?

sorry interbak....those pics are long gone.

i'll try to get some snaps of the jacket when my wife is back from vacation.....she took the camera.

the jacket still remains as one of my favourites and i have put it in circulation more than the other jackets from that time period.

usauthentic leather is beautiful stuff imo.

Hey G,

I have a horsehide A-2 and a B-6 shearling from US A, and really like them. The seal brown on the A-2 is a little too gray, but the leather itself is great, nice and heavy, but not too stiff. I'd love an Indy in their vintage horse.

i was sooooooo close to going with the vintage horse as opposed to the vintage goat.......wife like's horses which was the deciding factor.....as well as i thought she'd be too stiff.

do you find the horse too stiff? ie - will the jacket stand up if you placed it on the floor?

No, not at all. Shaul's horse is mid weight. It's heavier than a traditional A-2 horse hide, but no where near as heavy as the front quarter horse jackets made by Aero, Lost Worlds and some of the others. My Aero FQHH did stand up on it's own when it was new, and still does a pretty good job of it 3 years later. The vintage horse sample I got from Shaul is a nice rich brown, with a slightly red tint, and it seems a little lighter weight than the regular seal brown. My only other concern is that it's so well died that it may never get that worn in look. How's yours holding up? Does it still look new, or is it breaking in?
