Looks great, man! I love the new jacket! The color is a little lighter than I expected, but that can be dealt with. I think the jacket looks good on you, too, the fit is perfect!

By the way, with those Golden Khaki Cargo pants, that jacket, a Magnoli adventure shirt, and a fedora, you could pull off a "modern Indy adventure look."

I guess that means that they won't have a medium for me to trade my large for, if it's way big. RATS!!!!!!

yea the clerk said they have a couple mediums at the warehouse just not in store. she said the warehouse is in New Jersey. i also looked at just the regular distressed cow and the color on it was lighter in color and weight than this one.

Just curious...did you try on a small when you were there?

I'm over 6 feet 1 tall, chest size around 44" (give or take), and my medium fits perfectly.

my only real gripe is the sleeves are abit long. gonna see if i can get that taken care of though. i also have a todds jacket and as much as i love that one too the length just seemed a little short. yea it was about the same length on me as harrisons raiders jacket was. dont think that im made for an 80's type fit . this one the length feels right. did want it a little larger just cause the todds felt tight through the shoulders and i couldnt wear anything but a tshirt under it was just too bulky.

ok.I thought you had a large....

so the medium fits you perfectley?have you enough room for a sweather underneath it without the jacket feeling to snug?

just wondering in case anybody is willing to sell a medium or a large

Thanks, Michaelson.....
But you mean when I come to it. I have a 42" chest. The jacket I'll be receiving is a Large. You, your own self said, that you have a 44" chest, and the Medium is a perfect fit.

Seems that USW would know what size to recommend after reciving my dimensions. I'll know Wednesday.

If that was directed at me, the answer is no.

I wanted the medium sizing for just wearing with a shirt beneath. No way with a sweater. I need a large to do that, and I have my Wings VIP to fill that bill. The medium is a more tailored fit to my frame, with the right length sleeves. If I were after one that was a bit looser and still look good, then the large is perfect for me. Like I said, that's the size my old reliable VIP is, and it's my heavy weather jacket. Room for layering.

That should be an easy fix for any place that does tailoring. It shouldn't
cost you more than about 25 bucks or so.

I had to have the same thing done to my Wings Vintage Cow Indy jacket
a few years back, and thats what it cost me to shorten the sleeves about
1.5 inches.

I know Minnesota Jones is have his sleeves shortened as well, so it's an easy and normal procedure for someone used to working on leather.

Yup. I'll be picking up the jacket Thursday (and post pics of the difference as well). It was about $30 plus tax. Since the jacket has bucket cuffs (no snaps, etc.), it's a fairly easy job for them.

That looks a litle like the medium I put on, the color on that one reminds me of their pre-distressed cowhide.

maybe all you midgets can send me your 'sleeve scraps', and I can add them to a regular fit jacket's sleeves and it'll fit my freak orangutan long arms!

Impressive jacket, man. I wish I had one. Superb leather and I like the cut. Generous pocket flaps.

Cheers

Manu7- that jacket looks a little stiff. Is it? I have wanted a jacket made from the various leathers available and goat and HH are all thats left, but I really like the drape of yours.

yea, I heard they were sold out, too. I guess I'm gonna go to Wested and get a Novapelle jacket.

But it would be nice to wear an Indy jacket made from the same leather as was used in KOTCS.

i want to thank everyone for their input. got alot of local input also about shortening the sleeves. all my local input said they wouldnt mess with the jacket since it is such a limited edition. which i kind of agree with. i can handle a couple extra inches

Jacket looks good on you......I'm 6' 200lbs. and my XL fits me perfect...true to size. I believe leather jackets tend to mold to your body so give it time if you think it's too big.

just the sleeve length i think is a bit long when my arms are at my sides . think the body fits great and i have alot of movement unlike my todds which feels tight through the shoulders with some movements. i have just totally fell in love with this jacket its too bad that its getting hot and gonna have to wait to wear it regularly
