Later this year I was thinking of ordering a pair of Magnoli boots. I have a pair of Aldens--about 4 years old and well distressed--but I want the same style of boot that's a much darker brown and isn't as heavy. Magnoli offers a nice chocolate brown and even a darker cordovan that looks to be what I'm looking for. My Aldens will be for my costume--imagine how many Indy wannabes we long-time fans will see this Halloween--I just want a similar pair for everyday use, hence the darker brown.
I was wondering if anyone here has received a pair of Magnoli's Indy boots recently and what you think of them? Does anyone have a pair of chocolate or cordovan and want to comment on the color?

I also am looking to buy a pair of Magnoli boots & was wondering if there were any recent reviews. I love the custom made aspect of these boots & that is why I will probably choose them over Aldens. I want some tread on my boots & some extra pad on the heel. Magnoli can do that for me at no extra cost & give me boots that are custom fit to my feet, yet still "Indy" boots. That being said, I would love to hear what others who own this boot already think.
