I will take the "Black Magic" over brass look, Rook! It looks the most realistic.
Just curious. Do you think you will be able to get #1- thru #24 done before May 22? If not no problem! Health first. Maybe you got the bug from inhaling too much resin dust!
I am also interested in the plaque.

I made the list! Whew... And #27 too. Thats perfect. Please keep me as that #.Rook wrote:Revised the list a little.
There are now 3 finishes available for the front sight:
1) Basic black (same as the gun).
2) Bright Brass
3) Black over brass. By using a black magic marker you get a finish that allows you to see some of the brass, without having it really stand out. Looks decent.
Russ
Black magic please. Thanks Russ!

HI, I'm bottom of the list but can I change my sight to black over brass please as well!
Also I know it's way off but as I'm in the UK.... I have had other stuff like this ok through customs but if possible could it be finished as requested then disassembled for shipping as a Kit, Is that possible? (as long as its marked as a gift and described as 'Toy Movie prop' should be fine, I'm also a member of a re enactment club which also makes it legal by all accounts. )
Thanks again!
Jason

Russ - got your PM regarding shipping and the plaque. I think others who have indicated they want the plaque would be interersted in how long it takes for you to get the plaque to be able to include it with the Webley or to ship them separately. I can wait for the plaque if it doesn't take too long - otherwise I would like to get my hands on the Webley.

Russ,
Just a reminder that I had requested my sight be changed to black over brass. I had edited my post in your other thread previously to reflect this change, but forgot to do so in this thread. I have just done so, since I noticed that your list on page 1 did not note this change. Thanks for all the time and effort you are putting into this project.

Russ, I have never been a particular fan of guns that don't go 'bang', so I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the prop gun discussions.
That said, let me tell you that this is one of the most amazing reproduction revolvers I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I'm just totally blown away (no pun intended ), as I've not personally handled the WG, but have the MkVI, and have owned several MkIV's over the years, so I have personal experience with the big Webley revolvers. As I have posted over the years, I'm not a huge fan, but you have to admire these monsters. They're built like trucks, and keep on ticking.
You have definitely captured the very essence of the revolver.
I tip my fedora to you sir. You are a true artist and craftsman.
HIGHEST regards.
Michaelson

The next Webley run...
...I know you're very busy sir, and your props appear to be of the highest quality. When will you be making a second run? I'm sure it's too late to add my name to the current list. And I'm sure that after the 22nd, the pressure will be off a bit.
Respectfully,
Fritz

I was just looking at quirts at David Morgan's shop the other day!!! My wife said we should get one for the dog. But I don't see how he could possibly hold it. (ha ha)
Magnoli, what are your plans for ANZAC day with a Webley?! (I thought only the Brit troops used them?)
And speaking of which, it is ANZAC day in Australia now, but since I'm back in the US I won't drag out my dad's service medals until tomorrow.
My grandfather served in France in 1915, with the New Zealand machine gunners. I'll dig up a picture and post somewhere (already derailed this thread enough, but I love the Webley reference).

I believe most every country that was part of "The Empire" or had British troops stationed there at some point had Webleys. That would also include places like India, the middle east, Africa... and of course Australia as a former "colony."
Did some work on the guns today and have #10 & 11 in the raw.
I hope to have at least #12-15 in the raw by tomorrow night as I took tomorrow off too... and won't have to run the Mrs. to work in the morning.
Regarding a price increase... I had intended to increase the price after the 27 run because they're so labor intensive to make. I may just keep them at the listed prices for COW members and sell 'em higher on ebay.
Assuming I ever get to that point.
I'll be updating the big list soon. Glad everyone has received theirs! I was a little nervous about your's IM, glad you got it okay!

Nice just let us know when/if you ever get to that point! I mean I have no problem paying a little more like 150 to get one as I can see how labor intensive it is!Rook wrote: Regarding a price increase... Well, technically you DIDN'T miss the thread... because you expressed interest in the initial one. You're listed at position #22.Arkansas Smith wrote:How have I missed this thread. Hope it's not too late:
1) USA (Missouri)
2) Lightly Weathered.
3) Barrel style"drilled" and NOT brass.
Thanks.
Arkansas Smith
Do you want the "Black Magic" front sight (over the brass), or just plain black (same as the main parts of the gun)?
Edited the main interest list as well as the gun options/styles. PLEASE check the options and let me know. Some of you specified NOT BLACK as the original choice, but now I need to know if you want the "Black Magic" or "Factory Black" front sight.
Thanks!
