My Wested in Action!

Post by mooniteman »

I've been meaning to post pics of my Jacket, and I was on my friends movie shoot over the weekend while they took some production stills.

Naturally we got to goofing around - so here's some pics of my Indy jacket!

BTW it's lambskin - and I distressed with cold water, sandpaper and alcohol (but very very little)

For the cold water I soaked it and rubbed it with a cloth in key spots - it also shrunk the leather as it was just a hair too big for me.

Don't forget about the balloon... that was probably the most important part of distressing... ;)

Really nice jacket there, with a perfect distressing (for my tastes, of course  )
Also, you looks like a slimmer, younger (maybe even prettier) ME!

Nice jacket, what size is it and is it a ROTLA special or a raiders standard style ?

Based on the length, I would guess it was a Temple jacket. Perhaps it just looks longer because you're slim. :-k It's a great looking jacket regardless.

About the Jacket:

this is exactly what I wrote to Wested for the order:

Height: 5 \' 7\"
Chest: 39 \"
Sleeve: 24 1/2 \"
Jacket_Size: medium
Jacket style: Raiders Jacket
Leather: Authentic Brown - Lambskin
Lining / Zip: Satin
Also, you looks like a slimmer, younger (maybe even prettier) ME! Shocked Laughing
You should post a pic so I can see older bigger me! ... and me pretty? :-k

And thanks for all the comments guys - it's good you keep reminding me how skinny I am - I might forget! :rolling:

Your jacket looks superb and is further confirmation that the basic design favours those of us who are slim. Sadly, being of a naturally big, burly build I'm not one of them which is why I had three inches added to my recent Wested HH.
