Sleeve lengths...

Post by FLATHEAD »

Am I the only person who has short arms?

Every jacket that I have, the sleeves are like 2 inches two long.
When I order a jacket, I have to get the sleeves shortened by
about 2 inches or they come down past my knuckles.

My current US Wings Old Cow has sleeves that are about 23
inches long. I had them shortened because they were also too
long to start with.

Are there any other people out there like me that have short
arms? Its just funny to have to order a jacket with sleeves that
are 2 inches shorter than what is standard.

Just my curiosity...

My friend, I have the opposite problem. Unless I get a larger size, or have the jacket made for me, mine always end up 2 inches to SHORT! Interesting. Regards. Michaelson

Michaelson:

You probably get the extra length that is cut off of my jackets!

My dress shirt sleeve length is only 33 inches, with a 16 neck.
Most people have a 34 or 35 sleeve with this size neck.

I always wondered as a kid why my jackets were always
so much longer than all the other kids. I never needed
any gloves when I grew up, because my hands were always
well protected!!
