Indy Winter Jacket

Post by IndianaSolo »

Joining COW has taught me A LOT about leather. I've ordered a G&B Expedition but I know that it won't really stand up to the cold of NY winter. I have a lambskin and fur bomber jacket that I bought about 3 years ago. It's warm but is beginning to shed its leather. I'm looking into a new indy style jacket for winter, and I'm thinking about Horsehide with an alpaca lining and a mouton.

What experiences have you fellas had with indy style jackets in the cold climates?

I can't get horsehide through my suppliers, but Wested does. Years ago I tried to get Peter to do this exact style of jacket for me, but it never happened. Maybe you'll have better luck...

Kind regards,
Indy
