No Longer In Gray?

Post by Super Sleuth »

So I was checking hats direct for the federation and apparently they stopped selling it in gray. Does anyone know where else I can find it in gray?

Check with Ron at Hats Direct, they are changing a few things about the Fed and Fed dlx. Gray will be offered on the new ones.

The Federation IV(standard)
Made from Akubras Imperial Quality felt.

The finish on the standard Federation is the same as it has been, we have decided to keep the hat as low priced as possible, offering what we believe is one of the best value "open crown" hats available on the market.

Akubra have built their reputation on this felt standard, in comparing it to the deluxe in no way should this be regarded as an inferior product. For those starting into hat wearing and open crown hats we recommend this as the ideal starting point.

Colors available: Dark Brown, Tawny Fawn, Carbon Grey, Moonstone (new), Black

The price of the standard Fed is $Au 108.50
That's not what I read!

Give it a couple months. The new Federations will be available in Moonstone, and anyone who is an Akubra fan can tell, it's one of the sweetest pearl gray shades of felt on the world market.

The Moonstone Federation is just gonna rock.

You know the Magnoli HJ comes in gray too. It's more expensive, but a beauty of a hat. Here is that link:

Just choose which fits your budget and taste, the Magnoli is darker I think by the photo.

I'm very glad to read this, as I'll be receiving one of these when they finally start shipping. 8)
