They probably just provided a throw away hat - I think someone mentioned this somewhere else on here.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. He doesn't look as gray with wet hair.

No offense but I don't think you're ever gonna see Ford wearing an AB outside of the movie, AB's arent very easily available hats.
I mean we know how to get them. But how much easier is it to pick up an official hat from a store?

I think Ford can get one anytime he wants.
(probably has one or more from Steve directly already) , but I think mooniteman is right, they just gave him a "throw away" hat for the show. (and to subliminally get that "official hat" into people's minds who aren't as picky as us.

well I noticed it but not so much the ring it seemed to be more the stud when looking in other pictures ( most noticeably the one where he's next to Ashlee Simpson) I think there,s also slime hanging from his ear lobe.

Is it just me or does the DP Ford is wearing look better than the DPs of yester-year? Maybe they have upped their quality for the upcoming film.

That's probably one of the high end beaver felt versions.

Yeah, you are probably right. I was considering pickup on if it was their standard wool fed. No way am I paying $500 plus for that when I have an AB on order. If I wanted to spend $500 on a fedora I would just purchase another AB.

I don't know. It looks very much like the one I linked to in the IndyShop. Go check it out. (bound brim edge and all)

Honestly it looks just like my DP vintage Indy wool crushable, which does have a bound edge.

Looks like a Stetson Windham, which has a bound edge, to me. Will the slime make it taper?
It's a Stetson, of course it will taper!

Good point on the bound edge! The high end beaver doesn't have it, but one of the wool DP versions does.
