Horse is tough but quite heavy, borderline too heavy for my taste.

Cow is thick and heavy fairly tough, but too heavy for my taste.

Novapelle is medium weight and thickness. Great CS, probably not soft enough drape for Raiders.

New goat is thin and light drapes well, strong. Get's my vote.

Holt,
Considering the amount of jackets you have bought so far I think you are going to buy one of every kind anyway so why ask us?

So I recommend that you go ahead and buy one of each and after you compare them all there will be no more questions unanswered for you.

let's get this straight.

I bougth ONE jacket that was for everyday use.it was a lamb44R.I got a big cut in the back of it so I could not wear it anymore.

then I got the 42 80's cut wich was ok but to tight in the chest area.cant wear it.mannequin only

then came the goat wich I have now sold to a fellow dutchman

then came the 44rotla that was not actually ment for me but I got it anyways.

I loved the cut of it so I emailed gemma and told her I wanted it in a stronger leather

so this is the amount jackets I got.many failiours but one for a everyday use

That's 4 jackets purchased, some with different hides -- with more jacket(s) on order and on the way. You're on your way to clothing a small Indy army.

:D But I only pointed that out just to tease ya. I like learning about all the differences and people's experiences.
