Thanks to this discussion board, I've just finished my first whip! It's a pretty lame stockwhip, but hey, it's a start. I really appreciate all the tips I've read here. My goal (naturally) is to make an Indy bullwhip, but I figured it best to start with something simple. This was made following through Ron Edwards' book "How To Make Whips".
I just thought I'd share a pic, and also point you to the web page I'm putting together for anyone else who is a complete noob and doesn't know where to start. It'll be a journey for me in this new hobby, but so far it sure is a lot of fun!
