In order to help avoid server crashes, due to bandwidth limitations, the following policy is in effect:

PHOTO POLICY

You will not post more then six photos per thread (not per post). Not to exceed 640x480 pixels. You can also post up to six more links to photos as well. Again, per thread, not per post. We highly recommend having ONE LINK to a page offsite to either your web page or hosting service where the remainder of your photos are for viewing.

These photos must meet the requirements as set forth in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=9523

There are a couple exceptions to this rule. The first is official Summit Scrapbook threads (like Finger Lakes and Queen Mary) where the thread will be started/created by a Staff Member or other threads created by the Staff for a specific given purpose. Any other types require prior authorization from the Staff. These would be tutorials or threads with information valuable to Indygear's main site and/or it's members, or other types of threads again approved beforehand by the Staff. You must ask a Staff Member prior to starting these threads for approval before posting one of these mulitple photo/link threads, and state you had Staff approval in your first post in the thread as well, so the members are aware it's an exception.
