I ended up rebashing my Official Indiana Jones Dorfman Pacific lid last night. It took about 1 hour to pinch, rewet, pinch, and rewet to get perfection. This morning the lid was completely dry and the rebashed area was nice and stiff.
No time for pics this morning but I will take some tonight after I hit the think with tan powder for distressing and for the official broken in look. I also plan on hitting it with some sort of sealer to allow it to get wet without losing the shape. I'd hate to end up looking like Indy from Raiders when he swung down off the vine and into the river!!!!
And thanks to Indiana Green for his pics and tips!!!!

Trust me you'de have to be absolutely drenched to really mess up the Fedora- but if it does get really wet it really wont effect it too much - thats what I love about the wool hats - they're so easy to control.
Not to hijack a thread but could I get some info on how to do this? I just bought one and the brim is stiff and flat. I bought one that supposedly you can steam it to rebash. Any tips, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks!
