Novapelle is HORSEHIDE!???

Post by Kokopelli »

According to Wested's websight...Novapelle is made from Mr. Ed!
I cut and pasted this straight from Wested's order page on the site, look at what I bolded below-

"Leather: The jacket is available in the following: Authentic brown lambskin, dark brown lambskin; dark brown Goatskin, pre-distressed brown cowhide. dark brown Horsehide and 'Novapelle' an antique brown horsehide. Other leathers available by special request, i.e. black, etc "

I certainly must have read this page 20 times and I'm just now seeing this! Am I the only one who thought Novapelle was pre-distresed Moo Cow?

It's a typo. Every time Peter has always called it a cowhide as far as I recall.
