Which Size

Ok need some opinions here. My head measures almost 22 1/4 inches or 57 1/2 cm. Do I go with a hat that's 7 1/8 or 7 1/4? Anybody know the best fit in this case?

If you're going to order from Akubra, I'd just tell them the measurement, have them measure the inside of a hat to match, then have THAT hat shipped to you.

Sorry my mistake. I just finally got a regular tape measure and my inches are 22 1/2 or 57 1/2 cm. So what works best? Some hat charts say 22 1/2" is 7 1/8 and others say it's right between 7 1/8 and 7 1/4. So is it better to get the 7 1/8 and if it's a bit tight stretch it or get a hat that is too big hoping it shrinks?

Just follow michaelsons advice, email hatsdirect and give them your measurements. they'll find a hat that fits your measurements that you give them. They are always very nice and helpful whenever i have emailed them. That is of course If you are getting a federation. But of course any of the companies on here, be it AB, Keppler, or hats direct should be able to help you with your question.
