Ladies cut Wested

Post by Rivqah »

Just got my Wested lambskin Raiders a few days ago. When doing a search on the ladies cut I couldn't seem to find any threads with pictures (or at least ones with links that still work), so I thought I'd post these in case someone else is curious.

Please forgive me if I've committed any forum faux pas. It's my first time.

Very nice. You wear it well. I hadn't seen any in the women's cut before - it's nice to change that. :junior: -M

Ah, the ladies cut. Few and far beween!

You've got what looks to be an excellent fit there. Did you send a lot of specs or just measurements? The length is perfect, and those pockets are just spot on in size and positioning.

The reversed stormflap is just mindboggling, but I suppose they flip over their patterns and just reverse everything. It must make everything very confusing for the machiinst!

Do you think they did anything else to help it fit a ladies frame better? Slimmer in the waist, tighter arms?

Very cool, thanks for posting.

Rivqah, welcome to the forum. Being a lady myself, it's always great to see more ladies join.

The jacket looks fantastic! :P

I just sent the regular info: height, chest, sleeve and shoulder measurements.

I'm not sure what the standard ratios of a mens jacket are but here's the measurements from mine for comparison.

Size 38
20.5" pit to pit
18" waist
24.5" back length
6" shoulder
9.5" at shoulder to 5.5" cuff on sleeve

Hope this helps.
