Well, I just ordered an Adventurebilt Fedora! After reading post after post of everyone going from one hat to the next, and eventually ending up at Steve's door anyway, plus having a disappointment from another 'factory' made hat myself, I figured in the long run it would be better just to skip all the others and go straight for the Best- Adventurebilt!
Now comes the hard part- no, not the wait, but the "Honey..."

Oh boy...boots are gonna have to wait- for now. I had already 'convinced' her on ordering a Wested, since I sold my Cooper Disney, and I have a pair of 'close enoughs' to do me.
I'm without a brown fedora though, so I'm gonna need a holdover while waiting- I have an ad in the Marrakesh section looking for a used Fed.

Absolutely- I know this is a hat I'll be wearing the rest of my life.Hunter Jones wrote:Pricey, yes, but quality is always worth it. When you get that AB in your greedy little hands, you will forget about the cost.
Cheers

I've been a COW member since Feb. 27 and here is my damage,
Keppler Fedora - $175
Akubra Adventurer - $125
G&B Expedition jacket - $450
And I am expecting to buy an AB Dlx - 600+ US $
and I want the Timberland Boots - $150
So far I've spent $750... in less than 1 month
and after adding the other stuff it comes to $1500
And Im not even looking for a SA look

t
your not kidding. This place will take all your money.
I think you made a wise move going to the best in the AB. You won't go wrong with that one. Smart move. You will be very happy.

Just making sure I'm clear on the abbreviations...DoubleOhSeven wrote:I totaled up over $1,000.00 in gear and clothing I need to order...and that is NOT including the new AB Aldens.
What are "AB Aldens"?
Does Adventurebilt sell the boots? Or does AB mean something different in this context?
Thanks!
