Best Webley holster?

Post by whipwarrior »

Okay Webley fans, I need your help. This weekend I'm taking the plunge and buying the coveted .455 Mk-VI. I need a holster to keep my prize in, and I'd like to get the most for my money. My question is: Who sells the most screen accurate Webley holster (esp. in terms of color, as I want it dark brown to match my jacket)? I'm not really keen on picking up a vintage holster, as I'd like to distress it myself. I'm more interested in durability and appearance. So gents, what will it be?

Talk to Lee Keppler. He's offering a real nice Webley holster that is different than the IMA one. Cheers

Lee's selling Webley holsters now?

Yes, at $40 + $6 shipping and handling. He says they're dark brown, just like in the movie, and that they attach the same way as the IMA Webley holster. I'm sending the money order off tomorrow! :-)

These guys sell a really nice repro holster that is dark brown. Not the dry, rock hard holster that IMA sells. It's soft out of the box and well constructed.

Give 'em a call.

I have also seen Lee's. Very nice too. His is a little better quality wise but the WWMEINC one is cheap, around $20.00, if I recall correctly.

Can I PLEASE see some pictures of Lee's Webley holster? I have his Raiders holster and I love it and I have been waiting for him to make a Webley holster. Thanks in advance.

Adventure Supply Webley holster pictures!

Post by whipwarrior »

I just received my Webley holster from Adventure Supply, and I have to say that Lee has outdone himself this time. This holster is gorgeous! The leather is the deepest brown that you could ever ask for (matches the patented Wested UPS brown perfectly), and it's built like a tank. The shell is made of thick, firm leather, and the stitching is tight and uniform throughout. It's fitted with brass hardware, and features a sliding quick disconnect so that you can remove it without having to take your belt off. The Keppler Webley holster sells for $40, which is a spectacular value for your money. I guarantee you that a holster of this quality from any professional gun or western wear venue would cost in excess of $150. Lee is a professional to the nth degree, and his attention to detail is second-to-none. I recommend this to anybody who is looking for the definitive Last Crusade holster. Take a look for yourself!

That piece looks exactly like my IMA holster. Like, exactly exactly. Really exactly. :?:

Having second thoughts about distressing my holster. It looks so nice that I don't think I can bring myself to do it.

wait a minute!!! first lee sells the raiders holster $75, and then the webley holster for $40. big difference man, i mean, the raiders holster seems way simpler(easier to make) than the webley.. so whats up with this?

Actually, the Webley holster is a pretty standard shape and size whereas the Raiders holster is a very unique length, style, and manufacture. I'm sure it was easier for someone to come up with pre-existing Webley holster specs and recreate them than it was to create all new specs for the Raiders holster and replicate them. Hope this helps and Happy Easter.
