These are the BCF hats I got about 4 years ago, I've never actually worn by BCF hats out (they're too big for me), but I decided to take some pics in them for the heck of it. All of them started off extremely tapered with 1" ribbons, and 3+" brims.
I believe this one's actually quite nice looking. I did a ghetto reblock to make it the way it was, and I added a 1.5" black ribbon.
It definitely needs a reblock to get rid of a lot of back and front taper, and it could use a shaping on a flange.
This is my other bcf hat of the same make as the first. Although the interesting thing with this one is that it's actually turned 90 degrees because my head's a round oval. I knew it would make an exaggerated hat, but I did it as an experiment mostly. As you can see from this side shot, it has the distinctive Raiders brim. I also put a brown dyed with black 1.5" ribbon on this one, which was a first for me, and it worked out nicely.
Due to the ghetto reblock I did off of a Federation, this hat has a little too much dome to it. Thus, the back of the bash hits the top of my head. You'll also notice that the brim is way too short, but it's because I originally did the dimensional cut when it was in its original orientation, so I had to cut the sides pretty short to give it a dimensional cut again.
I think if I were to get another BCF of the same model these days, I could probably turn it into a pretty nice Raiders hat. Problem is I only ended up with large hats. I recall 3kbucks took all the medium ones from the BCF I went to. What did you ever do with yours by the way?
