Recoloring a bullwhip

Post by Katarn07 »

I just recently purchased a cheap bullwhip off of eBay and I'm happy with it for now. It'll hold me over until I possibly get a real one down the road. My one complaint is that it's too "orange." Isn't Indy's whip a bit darker than this?

How would I go about recoloring it? Also, shouldn't the light parts be darker than the rest of the whip? I do not intend on ever trying to crack this thing so I don't care if I wreck the whip. It's not a good whip to be using from what I've read here anyways. Any suggestions on how to go about this at an affordable price would be great.
