So if i want custom made Indy pants before the premiere

Post by Red Dust »

So i contacted noel howard a few weeks back and i have'nt heard a reply... so the worry that i wont be able to get a custom pair of indy pants before may 22nd is creeping in... i was wondering if anyone knows who uses the exact same material and who also takes orders were i can give them the exact measurements of the pants i want?

Thanks for any reply

Indy Magnoli will custom make the pants to your measurements and he offers the pants in cotton or wool.

Yeah, Magnoli makes great stuff - very comfortable. One caveat - I'd recommend going into a Tailer to be measured before ordering, otherwise you may end up with pants that don't fit you. :junior: -M

Definitely order through Magnoli.

http://www.magnoliclothiers.com

You're looking for the "Adventure Pants". You can e-mail Indy Magnoli there or PM him here if you have questions about color/size/material.

I do not personally own a pair, but I have seen them. The quality is incredible.

Mulceber brought up a very good point: get a tailor to measure you (suit measurements) and forward this to Magnoli when you order (he will keep your measurements on file for your next order). You can also download a measurement guide on the Magnoli Clothiers website and have someone who's good with a tape hook you up.

You won't go wrong with the Magnoli Adventure Pants.

The two pairs of NH pants I owned were both 100% wool. Thin wool, but wool nonetheless.

Noel's pants do run a little form fitting, so keep that in mind when ordering. I made the mistake of ordering my jean size and had to lose a touch of weight to have the pants fit comfortably.

Have you tried calling him? I've lost his number but I talked to him a few times and he was a lovely guy to deal with and has a lot of great stories.

I'd definately recommend ordering from Magnoli. I own a pair of his Adventure pants. The quality is good & the fit is custom. If you want a baggy fit, he can do that for you. As has been suggested, get your measurements from a tailor if you can. Magnoli is wonderful to do business with. He'll work with you.

Then just tell magnoli you want him to provide a baggy fit. It's that simple. :junior: -M

Or if you have a pair of pants that fit like the way you want your Indy pants to fit, send them to him to use as a guide for measurements.

I hate to repeat everybody, but.... Magnoli, Magnoli, Magnoli! Zip him an e-mail RIGHT NOW with all of your questions and concerns. He will get back to you personally. If you do this now, your odds of getting the pants in time are good. But if you wait...
