While researching images for my own homemade holster I came across this website.

Some excellent pics too for those of you that want to make your own. Search the page for Webley. There are about four listed. Check out the different styles on the backside of each holster!

It has been proven that in Last Crusade Indy's gun is always the Webley WG. I personally have checked every scene that Indy has his Webley and it is always the WG. Others have done this also.Last Crusader wrote:In Last Crusade it IS a MkVI.
The MKVI never appears in any of the scenes.
Indys gun was originally thought to have been the MKVI as the WG is far rarer to be found. The MKVI are a lot more common and, since they look similar, it was mistakenly thought that it was the MKVI.
The WG has the birdshead grip, a longer cylinder, and a long flat portion of frame just ahead of the trigger guard. These are the three main identifiers that prove it to be the Webley WG in all the scenes.
Check it out for yourself.
Regards.

Here are some photos that compare the 2 Webleys:
Webley WG (Indy's Gun)
Webley MKVI
You can see the difference in the grip, the longer cylinder, and the long flat portion of frame just ahead of the trigger guard.
And here is Indy's WG from Crystal Skull
Compared to my Webley WG
I realize it's a bit off topic but I hope it clears up some confusion.
