Just got my first 'real' hat!

I just received and bashed my new Akubra Fed! This is a really nice hat. I've been using a cheap wool felt fed and I can't believe how much nicer this feels to the touch, how much better it looks, and how much more comfortable it is. I just bashed it (that was pretty fun!) and it looks wonderful. I can't do pics until next week because I'm leaving out of town for the weekend. Next week I'll try to get pics with the whole ensemble. It feels good to join the ranks!

I just ordered my 1st real fedora too from Lee Keppler. Of course I still have probably another 2-3 weeks of wait time, but I'm sure it's worth it. I have 2 wool Dorfmans that I can't complain about considering the abuse I give them, but they aren't a real fur felt, big difference!!!

I've been wearing this everywhere! Honestly, I'll try to get some pics this week. I still can't get over how comfortable this is. I'm a lifelong baseball cap wearer, and I'd take this comfort any day over most of my caps.
