Indy Style Briefcase

Post by brady »

I recently accepted one of two offers I have gotten here at school this semester. So at the end of June I'll be moving from lovely way Upstate NY to Columbia, MD. For my new job I'll be an entry level Civil Engineer working on team projects. I guess what I am looking for is something that I can bring stuff back and forth to work that isn't your basic square flip top breifcase. Does anyone know of anything Indy-esque that would come close to what I am looking for? Leather is a plus too.

Sergei had a pretty good saddle bag. Had a rugged look to it.

If you can afford it, Swaine Adeney & Brigg sell business attaché cases.

Wow! Now that's a beutiful case. Sergei, if you're reading this, how's the wear and care of this case?

That's not Sergei's bag. His is a saddle bag similar to the one River Phoenix has with him in Last Crusade.

Here's the link to the thread. http://www.indygear.com/forum/viewtopic ... ght=saddle

The Swaine, Adeney Brigg case is similar to the one Indy carries with him in Raiders when he meets the government men.

Pyro I really like your case, is it made by the company you stated before or another?

Thanks. No, sadly it's not a high dollar case. It was a promotional case given to my dad which he no longer had a use for. It's pretty neat because it has a place for the cell phone on the side. It's leather and has distressed quite nicely.

Cheers,
Pyr.

I've been shopping around for a bag myself.

See if you can talk someone into giving you this Orvis beauty as a graduation present:

Or if something more casual wouldn't be inappropriate, this has a nice rugged look:

I don't have either of these, so I can't vouch for them.

Happy shopping,

- A.I.

Sorry Pyro, I misunderstood on the saddle bag message.

The Orvis is a nice bag, very Indy style. But at $450  the wife would make me live in it.
