Pictures of my fedora, can you tell me what it looks like?
I'm stuck in the house sick today, so what else would I do but take pictures of my hat? I won't ask you to source this particular hats maker, I do not think that would be fair. What I would like to know is, what brand of hat does it look most like? I'm looking to get another fedora soon, and I would like to consider something a little different maybe. After I've heard a few comments, I will tell you what this is.

Looks like the body of comments so far favor the Akubra and the HJ. And yes, I was going for the Raven Bar bash, it seems to show up much more in life than in these pics. I'll tell you what this actually is.
It is a Beaver Brand hat, about 35 years old. I bought it from a western apparell store about 9 years ago. It was a cowboy hat with a 3 1/2" pencil curled brim and tall crown with a god awful looking 1970's trucker style crown, boxy and bulbous in the front and very short in the back. But the color looked good, and I figured there was enough brim and crown to work with, so I went to work on it. I has been the toughest hat I have ever had! Sometime I'll post some pics of what kind of treatment it has seen and still holds a good shape. By now the felt has become very soft, and fits so well that I can wear is in a strong wind and it will stay on, but it will not leave a red mark on my head. I'd still like to know how it stacks up in comparison to some of the other brands out there. Thanks for your comments!
