My distressed Todd's Standard holster

Post by Nobody »

Just finished it with the soot method and colored the threads with a brown
marker ala Rabittooth. It's a little darker in the pics then it really is.
In the second you can see the diference between the flap and the lower
part. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Phil

I just finished doing the same thing to mine not long ago. The marker is a good idea, I'll have to give that one a go.

Does anyone out there own both Todd's standard and deluxe Raiders holsters? If so how do they compare?

Both of those pictures are of the same holster, the one on the bottom is just earlier in the process.

Judging from those pics, the new standard is a lot nicer than I thought it would be. I have had my Keppler holster for years though. Yet I have pondered buying others for the sake of collecting. I like Todd's gear a lot I am just torn about the major differences, other than price, between the standard and deluxe.

I emailed Tood's this question, but haven't heard anything yet. Perhaps someone her could weigh in on this: if I order the holster, does that mean the gun belt and whip holder have to be ordered separately as well? I'm thinking the answer is yes, but I wanted to hear from the pros. Thanks!

That is correct, separately.
