To all:
Be careful of this seller: zuckerschlecker5 with email coming from this email address: chiara015813@aol.com.
The item listed is for the following:
Wested Indiana Jones LC Jacket - # 180213646267)
Link to the ended auction item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=008
The seller claims that the first buyer wasn't unable to complete the transaction and I was being given a Second Chance Offer. This Second Chance Offer came in the form of an email outside of the eBay My Message format. It came from an email account ebay@payment-ebitem.com in which the domain name was reigstered 02/22/08 through Register.com. The name registered is Domain Discreet out of Canada.
The user information contained within the Second Chance email outside of eBay states the following:
First name: Stacey
Last name: Hildreth
Address: Via Salaria 124
City: Roma
State, Zip code: Roma,00198
Country: Italy
I was asked to submit payment via Western Union transfer even though the original Auction stated payment could be made via Paypal.
The price for the Auction ended at $169.99 for a true Wested Leather Jacket which seemed a little too good to be true and the Seller only has 11 feedbacks for making purchases and a big fat ZERO for selling!
I didn't complete the transaction because when I received the Second Chance Offer email outside of eBay (eBay will send an automated Second Chance Offer email) it became very suspicious.
I just wanted to let the IJ community know about this and buyer beware if this item or a similar item/transaction occurs. PM if you need more detailed info regarding future suspicious activity. I have saved all of our correspondence via commercial email (none through eBay) and have also reported all this info to eBay as well!
Again BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
####! Now I have to find a new Wested jacket!!!!!!

A follow up people! The same person has now listed a David Morgan IJ whip! The auction is private so there is no way to warn the potential buyers.
I just received a response from eBay that they are investigating and possible outcome is shutting down this sellers account. I'll keep people posted if wanted or just PM me.

The auction of "Zuckerschlecker5" has nothing to do with it!
There is some guy (NOT the seller of the jacket) who sends out those "second chance offers" via email. In the past I received one as well (and in that case I knew the person who offered the item I was bidding on). Obviously he looks for auctions with many bidders, and sends those emails to the ones who did not win the auction. He's a cheater... But that could have happened to everyone.

This same thing has happened to me. When auctions end above a certain amount now, eBay makes the bidders names private. Scam artists would take the losers name and send them a fake second chance offer. This has nothing to do with the original seller of the jacket. It is not his/her fault at all. It is a scam artist.
The best thing to do is to forward the email to eBay's fraud department and let the seller know about this.
And NEVER pay with Western Union transfers. It is not easily traceable and you cannot get your money back. Always use money orders, paypal, or something of the like.
