special offer ROTLA jacket coloring question

Post by Holt »

I was hoping to get some answers from members or Peter himself..

as you know I recently got my ROTLA special offer jacket(wich I love)

but I am wondering how strong the color is on the jacket?how deep does the coloring go?

Like some members have said it distresses easy...but I thought not THAT easy??

allready my jacket has been a little naturell distressed across the seems after one week of wear  ...

is this normal??

was this the intention while making the jacket, for easy distressing?

man I wonder how it would look like after 1 year?

is there any thoughts on this?

high regards

What is the underneath colour? Is it brown or grey? I'd love to see some more pics of your jacket - especially in daylight.

the underneath color is grey....I will take some pictures of it when I have my camera back from service...

I was wondering if the tanning process was not that strong on the jacket since it distresses so easy?

High regards

It's chrome-tanned leather, so... grey. Vegetable tanning yields the brown undertones.
