Hey D. It's well worth the wait! :D

I have one, in more of an LC bash and it draws regular positive
comments at work and when I'm out at meetings.

I had a breakfast event last year, that had a Hotel staff guy stop in
his tracks and blurt out "Wow..that is a fantastic hat".

The Grey is very classy. Has a underlying brownish hue that allows you
to wear it with your Wested, blue shirt, and gold tie.

You have indeed chosen wisely! :D
Mind you, I opted for the "Non-turned" version.
It has less Character but a bit more formal eh.
Anyway...don't fret, time is cheap, a good AB is worth the waite.

Cheers

don't worry we are right. You are going to love the AB. I have 3 AB and 1 ABD. Well worth the wait. It's the hat out there that is worth the wait.

I'm sure you guys are right, but for some reason I'm more nervous about shelling out that kind of money for a hat than I was for my Wested...or my reissue M1917!

I was nervous about the hat too when I bought mine. I knew for a fact that I would wear the jacket all the time, but I wasn't sure how often I would wear the hat, or if it would fit right, or if I would even like the look of the tall hat. I've only had my hat for two weeks, but I can say that every concern I had went away as soon as I put the hat on. I'm sure you'll be just as pleased with yours. I knew the AB was a great hat, but I was still blown away when I got it. So no worries.
