When is a prototype not a prototype?

Post by schwammy »

These 'prototype' Expedition jackets on Flight Suits' clearance page - are they prototypes from when the jacket was first introduced in 2000, or are they prototypes from when they changed to pockets to the current specs?
Anybody got a clue?
Ever notice how if you write the word 'prototype' enough, it ceases to mean anything?

I think by now the first run of the production jackets have worked there way out of the system. When you examine the other non-Expedition jackets on clearance, these were returned for whatever reason. Remember that there is a 6 month return policy. So it depends. Some lengths were not right. Some were made to measure and the measurements didn't work out. Usually if you look in the comments section, it describes the jacket. But if I were you call them on their toll free number. Talk to Martha or Dave. Tell them you are interested in the Expedition on clearance and make them run through the specs on the jacket. Ask them point blank, are these post mod, production jackets?
