Ordering a wested Raiders, what do I want!

Im going to order another wested (I bought one years ago but never really fit right!).

I want it to be as SA as possible so what do I want to be asking for. I was going to stick too the lambskin and satin lining as of the "hero" jackets but what else do I want??

I also have to sort out size. Im 6ft and am about 38 round the chest so I figure Im around a 38 long. Anyone in a similar height and size who can post pics of how there jackets fit?

Sorry Stark, I'm nowhere near those dimensions so I can't help you in that department. However, regarding your first jacket. Have you considered taking it to a good tailor? My Wested cowhide also didn't quite fit right but about $75 worth of tailoring made it look like a 'tailor-made' jacket for me...which frankly, it was!

the best advise I can give you is to take a phonecall to Peter himself...
he is a really great help and very nice to talk to.he does not rush you on the phone in anyway...he lets you talk until you are finish and feel happy with your order...

I just talked to him again today ordering a custom 44 jacket...

I ordered a 44 goat standard with modifications on it...I needed one more jacket more for the winter for thick sweathers underneat hsince my ROTLA jacket is just a spring/summer(beginning)fall jacket

unfortunately tailor wise the jacket fit my cousin really well so I passed it on.

I may give peter a call, thats not a bad idea. I will take some measurements off of the old jacket however where I needed the adjustment.

What else am I wanting to make it SA though.. The rectangular clasps is a new thing to me, what the deal there?

Wait a minute!! Monday is a Federal holiday in the US. Are you trying to tell me that *everybody* doesn't celebrate our holidays?

unless someone can prove me wrong, the screen accurate raiders wested had the cotton silesia lining, not satin. not even satin sleeves...
