Magnoli HJ Hat Brim question

Post by OWJ88 »

I got a Magnoli HJ a few months ago blocked LC style. The hat is fantastic and has been great during this cold Colorado winter. My issue is that the brim is not very down turned in a classic Indy way. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good way to get the brim turned down more in the front without damaging the rabbit fur felt.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Fur felt is more durable than you realize. Just pull the front of the brim down every time you put it on. In time it will start to develop that swoop. :junior: -IJ

Get caught in a rainstorm and reshape the brim, or just get an atomizer and spritz some cold water on the brim that way.

Bink hit the nail on the hat... um, I mean head. If youn spray water on it, I recommend applying the water to the bottom side of the brim, and use distilled or spring water. Distilled is best. This will keep possible water marks to a minimum, and if any dye leeches out, it won't be visible while wearing the hat.
