New Whip!!! (Soonish)

Post by hollywood1340 »

I've just won an ebay auction for one of our very own Louie Foxx's whips!
It's a 12 plait kangaroo, my first, and looks like it'll be a perfect starting fighting whip! I'll post some pics of it when it arrives, but you can see it for yourself over at his site www.bullwhips.org (January 30th, 2008)
Thanx Louie, I look foward to your creation!

Here's a couple of pics of the whip before I ship it out today:

It's a 4 foot bullwhip, so it's pretty fast and if you've never used a 4 foot before, they take a little while to get used to. I made this one awhile ago and it's been sitting on my wall for a a month.

Also I just finished a 6 foot Indy whip with a spring steel handle, you can see pics of that whip on my blog at http://bullwhips.org

Louie,
Thank you very much! Just recieved it today, awesome work! The balance is just right, the handle feels awesome and it cracks like thunder. It's a different feeling with a whip this short, but physics still apply. Now if only Meadow's book would arrive!

Glad you like it. going from a longer whip to a short whip is a huge difference! a 4 foot is soooo much faster than a 8 or 10 foot.

Just for fun, here's a 6 foot indy that I finished a few days ago:

Well today I did two things with my new whip I've never done before:
Put out candles
Cut Cards
And did them again. And again. And again. And the fact I can play with it indoors within reason? Priceless!
