NEW HAT

Post by Indiana MarkVII »

Finally, my gray traveling AB fedora arrived yesterday, It is beautiful and fits like a glove. I wore it to work today, but wondered if I was committing fashion crime because I was wearing my authentic brown lambskin Wested.

I know I need to post a photo, but go ahead and say it anyway. I'll have access to a digital camera this weekend.

Wow, even admitting that I didn't have a photo to share right way wasn't enough to calm these waters. It's 6:30 local time and I'm headed to my girlfriend's for dinner. She has a digital camera, so I'll wear my new hat over there and ask her to snap a shot. I don't think I've ever posted any photos of me in my Indy gear here yet.

That's why I rarely mention getting anything unless I'm prodded, and only then if I have a photo I can show.

And that's why he NEVER mentions he's gotten anything.

I didn't even know Michaelson was into this hobby for a few years - I thought he just wandered in and forgot where the way out was!!

You guys crack me up. OK, so my girlfriend (my Marion) got some shots of me and my hats. One AB gray traveling Raiders, one AB Raiders and one Todd's Costume Herbert Johnson. Can you tell which is which?

ACKKKK! How do I insert a photo that is not hosted on a another site? I have the images on my PC in a file. Can I load them directly? Waiting fans need to know!

MarkVII

EDITED:; OK, I got them into Photobucket, so let's see if I can load them or the links here:

^I generally use Imageshack, which offers free hosting. It will also resize the photo for you (choose the size, check the box when you upload).

Looking forward to the pics. I'm considering ordering a 'travel grey' myself.

My guess would be:

AB Brown
AB Gray
Todd’s HJ
Todd’s HJ
AB Brown
AB Gray

Beautiful hats all; nice stable you've got there!

I believe you got them right! At first glance, the brown hats look very similar. The HJ has a bit of a tighter pinch in front and I think the brim drops down just a tad more on the HJ, than on my AB. Thanks for the compliment!

I've got two more somewhere in the pipelines. An AB KOTCS and a AB Deluxe that Marc said was on the block or close to it, I think.

Congrats on the grey AB. It looks fantastic. I don't get to wear my grey one as much as I like.
